So... my Tuesday morning routine as of late is pretty shameful. As some of you may or may not know, I am obsessed with The Bachelorette & the whole Bachelor Nation franchise, etc. I can't get enough of it. It's entertainment at its finest and I feel no need to defend my love for it because if you watch it, you will at least understand why people can't get enough of this stuff even if it's not your thing. The Bachelor is chock full of tears, fake drama, and men with abs for days. What more can a girl ask for?
Because I don't have cable and usually work Monday nights, I can't enjoy The Bachelorette in its full live glory, so I have to wait till it uploads on Hulu the next morning. Every Tuesday morning I spend an average of two hours watching the show and all of the extra video clips on Hulu, and then I subsequently google spoilers for next week because I AM AN ANIMAL.
And you know what? As I'm typing this, I kind of feel less bad about it. Cause it's fun. So maybe if I just let myself have this time every Tuesday morning instead of feeling bad about it I'll enjoy it more. Maybe guilty pleasures aren't such a bad thing after all? I'll think on that.
Anyway, so this month's focus is exercise. I was going to exercise every day, but I have random knee and butt pain (not kidding) so I'm trying to exercise while still not injuring myself. Four years of working in restaurants will do that to you, I guess. So I'm working towards a consistent 4-5 day a week workout schedule and doing exercise that doesn't kill me. I'll post more about my workout journey (journey? see? I'm still in Bachelor mode), etc as the month goes on.
Just wanted to do a little check in. I just made really spicy mushroom tacos, so I need to go chug a gallon of water.
